Central Ohio is facing an affordable housing crisis
Currently there is an estimated shortage of 10,000 affordable homes in central Ohio and the number is only growing each year. Meeting this challenge will require commitment, creativity, and partnership. Thanks to a generous supporter, we have $50,000 in matching funds available.

In April, Habitat for Humanity-MidOhio marked the start of a new chapter by breaking ground on our first multi-family housing development in the Devon Triangle neighborhood of Columbus.
Devon Triangle reflects how Habitat–MidOhio is thinking differently. By increasing density, we will build 14 homes across one duplex and four triplexes —creating opportunities for 14 families to achieve stable homeownership while maintaining the character of the neighborhood. This nearly doubles our annual production of 10 single-family homes.
For the families who will live there, it means something simple but powerful: a safe place to put down roots, build stability, and plan for the future. Devon Triangle is helping us test new ways to build more homes. Now we’re ready to build on what we’re learning and identify new opportunities to expand affordable homeownership.
